Been a while!
Yes, yes I know I haven't posted in almost a month....man, busy mommy here. So let's see if I can catch everyone up. April has come and gone (well almost). With the exception of watching a few TV shows, there has been little going on, at least with me. Baby has been growing, and well I have too. I have gained almost four pounds since last month. Which some of you may know is a lot for me. To date I had only gained about five pounds my whole first five months! Also though, these last three months is when baby soars and grows like crazy...must be a boy, we know how their growth spurts are right?! Baby's check up in early April went well and at that point I had gained one pound from early March.
+++ baby's sense of balance is developed (it can tell if it is upside down in mommy or not)
+++ baby is 15 inches long and weighs about 1.5 pounds to 2
+++ baby's hands are fully developed!
+++ baby's eyebrows/eyelashes are well formed
+++ baby's footprints are fully formed
+++ baby's eyes are beginning to slowly open
+++ baby is now sleeping/waking on regular cycle (although I wouldn't know that (no movement yet from the tummy region)
+++ baby's movement is more coordinated...like pedaling a bike
+++ vocal chords are functioning
+++ hiccups are commonplace now

Okay so some of you may have known I took a trip to Florida. Have no fears...my mommy had them for me and baby. I successfully drove my mom to FL over a three day period and we all survived with super duper colors! About the only thing that happened was my feet became swollen. This however didn't last long after my return to WI. Yes, I came back to WI. Don't know why cuz it was gorgeous down there and warm! So it was a nice trip spread over a few days and it worked out well. However, next time I do this trip I will be WAY MORE PREGNANT, so who knows?! Baby's room is coming along well (thanks to daddy Dave). He is almost done sheetrocking it and soon the build in part for the closet comes along and the painting! If you are interested in painting chat with daddy Dave, cuz mommy Ann ain't allowed to paint....the fumes are not a good thing for baby. All is good here and I hope everyone had a great Easter. May is right around the corner and Mother's Day is too! So ta ta for now from the White House.
